April 25' GMS Fail(ing Forward)
Thank you for checking out our quarterly update 👍
Construction is the second most complained-about industry in the U.S. with surprise costs, scheduling delays, and poor communication topping the list, but we’re fixing that! The GMS is a GPS specifically for construction contractors. Simply enter your project goals, and the GMS uses artificial intelligence to mine, analyze, and leverage their historical and real time data to autonomously optimize their estimates and schedules in real-time, increasing estimating accuracy up to 95% and saving contractors up to 35% on their labor costs! The GMS will do for the construction industry, what the GPS did for travelers using a map.
💻Product Updates:
Development continues on schedule, with additional improvements driven by feedback from our current BETA user. Last week, we launched version V0.7.5, featuring password enhancements, Gantt Chart improvements, contract format updates, widget fixes, and multiple bug resolutions.
💼Business Development:
Early this quarter, we focused on learning from our first BETA user, which accelerated development as we transformed their feedback into meaningful updates. As the quarter progressed, we received several referrals, leading to meetings with potential subject matter experts, partners, and investors.
📊KPIs & Core Metrics:
We’ve moved from onboarding, training, and learning from our 1st BETA user, to onboarding our 2nd. We’re also finalizing the selection of our 3rd BETA user, with onboarding set to begin in early May. Despite being upfront about the effort required early on, we’ve seen strong interest—multiple companies are actively pursuing BETA slots, recognizing the long-term value GMS offers.
💰Finances:
BETA testing has proven more time-intensive than anticipated to deliver measurable value. As a result, we’re re-opening our pre-seed round to extend our runway by an additional six months.
😓Lowlights:
We’ve been getting our butts kicked. BETA testing didn’t go as expected—we uncovered a major glitch and missing functionality that prevented users from realizing value. It was a gut punch at first, but it gave us the clarity we needed. While the initial launch was disappointing, it was a necessary step forward.
🏆Highlights:
This is exactly the phase we’ve been preparing for: our first live release, and integration into a BETA user's standard operating procedures. It’s exciting to finally be in the field. Anyone familiar with ERP systems knows implementation is a major lift—especially when powered by AI in a space where the technology itself is still in its infancy and evolving rapidly. We’re now turning real-world usage into real traction.
📰Press:
- In February, US Business News Published an article about “The Impact of GMS AI on Specialty Contracting”
- In March, Building Inc. invited us to speak on their Code & Concrete podcast to talk about “Data-Driven Project Management”
🆘Help Wanted:
Introductions to:
- Construction Contractors, not only as subscribers, but more importantly as a “Subject Matter Expert (SME).” This would include an equity offering.
- Experienced SaaS/ERP Founders – who have scaled before and are interested to do it again.
- Potential Investors – to help extend our momentum into the next phase.
🙏Thank You!
